thanks all for the bday wishes, it seems we have upset the germans here with all of our fun. my family is a hoot and now itseems that there is a new place that rents vintage vespas..i will get details. i lost the group for three hours today...shshsh, they think it was an accident! no nap but well worth the sacrifice. they had a sweet bday party for me, one i will remember fora long while.....not unlike the masses of peepls here in florence. but it is all incredible and YUMMY.

Hey guys, as you probably know since I'm with child, I'm not riding my scoot anymore. I won't be for at least another 6 months. I am open to ideas, but right now I plan on storing it . What I need is some help from one of your lovely people to ride it over to my storage space. I'm flexible on time, and I don't think it will take more than 20 minutes start to finish. Anyone available this week?

Temecula is a one-day event on June 8. There is also Swerve 'n Curve August 22-24. That looks kinda cool. I've never been, but riding the hills in Palos Verdes should be fun. Here's the info.

Nancy and I went for a Sunday morning ride before it got too hot. We were scooting along Mountain Drive, enjoying the warm air and views and just went thru the Cold Springs creek when Nancy's rear tire made a really weird sound like, thhhhhhhhhhh, thump, thump. A little fishtailing and she had a flat! She's OK, but more importantly so is her Vespa. The rear tire has either a chunk of glass or a very sharp rock in it. Bob will be able to see when he puts on a new tire. "Fix a flat" did nothing to help as the hole was too big. So Bob, Nancy needs to make an appointment, ASAP, for new front and rear tires for her GTS. Not really bad news as she needed a new rear tire, anyway. The Zippies will be fine. Thanks!
